New special dishes
A trio of fabulous new dishes are galloping into the restaurant from Tuesday 10 February:

Sang choi bao with golden fragrant prawns and prawn crackers - double prawns, double happiness!

Soy braised chicken with Chinese mushrooms and black ear mushrooms - luxurious ingredients to attract good fortune!

Coconut pudding with Mandarin orange and red bean - brilliant red to attract good luck!
All of the above will be available as part of our incredible Chinese New Year Feast menu during the festive period 10 February to 1 March. This needs to be pre-booked with at least 24 hours' notice as an Experience - book here now!
Yee Sang Prosperity Toss Salad
We will be offering our incredibly popular Yee Sang Prosperity Toss Salad once again as a special dish at the restaurant. This uniquely Malaysian and Singaporean celebratory dish is a fresh, colourful salad with smoked salmon served with crunchy crackers with an enhanced plum sauce. The idea is that the garnishes and sauce are drizzled onto the salad at the table, just before the participants stand up to toss the salad up in the air with chopsticks to mix everything together. It is said that the higher the salad is tossed, the more luck and prosperity is in store for the people around the table.
It will be available for dine-in at the restaurant or as a beautiful takeaway platter to be enjoyed at home with your friends and loved ones between 10 to 28 February 2026.
Each salad is designed to be shared and comes in three sizes:
For up to 2 people £28.88 (dine-in only)
For up to 4 people £58.88
For up to 6 people £88.88

It MUST be pre-ordered in as many multiples as you like with at least 24 hours' notice. Simply book your table and pre-order the salad as an Experience during the booking process.

TAKEAWAY PLATTER FOR COLLECTION
These will be available for collection from the restaurant during opening hours with at least 48 hours' notice. Please email info@sambalshiok.co.uk to place your order, stating what size of salad you would like (multiples of 4 or 6 people) and when you would like to collect. We will email to you a secure link to take card payment for your salad. Your order is confirmed only once payment is made.
